In the event a withdrawal is requested before the start date of the course/service, the penalty will be the reservation fee amount or the standard withdrawal policy amount, whichever is higher (see standard withdrawal policy). This is applicable before and after the full fee due date.

STUDENTS WAITING FOR RESULTS, VISAs, OR PEBC DOCUMENT EVALUATION

For Hands-on courses (Ex. OSCE Course): standard withdrawal policy will apply regardless of previous exam result or change in status (e.g. Failure in Evaluating Exam, failure in MCQ Exam, passing with appeals, getting University Acceptance etc.). If the student decides to register, please be prepared to take the course to completion as no refunds or credits will be issued. The student’s best option would be to inform the administration as early as possible, in writing, of the student’s interest in registering, as management has a Waiting-List system in place, in which timestamps are a significant determinant for a call-back.

For OSCE Course: students MUST inform the administrative staff in writing at the time of registration of their pending MCQ Exam result in order to get pre-approved for a policy exception.

In case of failure, students must submit their Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) result to the Front Desk via email within forty-eight (48) hours from the time results are released. If pre-approved, students will receive a full 100% credit for OSCE once books/handouts are returned (a purchase option will be available). This offer is valid within the first fourteen (14) days of the course, after which the student must continue with the course.

For Evaluating Exam & MCQ Exam Courses: students MUST inform the administrative staff in writing at the time of registration of their pending status (for visa and/or document evaluation by the PEBC). The administration will grant pre-approvals depending on capacity and other factors. In case of negative outcomes (e.g. visa denial), pre-approved students can:

  1. Transfer to the following cycle if a transfer is requested within the first three (3) weeks of the course (students may incur administrative penalty for course content and materials such as books. Price increase for future cycle may be charged).
  2. Complete the course in full and receive $500 credit towards a full Course registration in the following cycle.
  3. Complete the course in full and receive $250 credit towards a Lectures Only package registration in the following cycle if seats are available.
  4. Under no circumstance will the course be partitioned along different cycles. Full completion of the course, including mock exams, is required in the corresponding cycle.
  5. No other considerations with regards to the registration will be made, including the PEBC changing their exam dates. Prep Pharma is an independent institution and is dedicated to rendering its educational services according to its own commitments and timelines.

RESALE AND REASSIGNMENT

Reselling or re-assigning Prep Pharma course registrations or seats is not allowed. Any attempts to do so will be grounds for dismissal from the course with no refund. A willingness to give up a seat cannot be used to bypass Prep Pharma’ waiting list.

Reselling Prep Pharma content, handouts, and/or books is not allowed and constitutes grounds for dismissal from Prep Pharma services with no refund.

COURSE CREDITS

Prep Pharma credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and expire in 6 months Conditional Prep Pharma credits (e.g. Course-specific credits) are valid for one cycle only, immediately following the current cycle.

COURSE FEES

When a student is eligible for multiple discounts or offers, only one discount or offer (the highest in value) will be applied to course fees.

REGISTRATION MODIFICATIONS AND AMENDMENTS

In cases where an amendment to an existing registration is approved, filling in a new registration form may not be required. Examples include (but not limited to) session switching, Mock Exam upgrade requests, transfers, and course accommodations/options offered to students through lecture or by email. Attaching student responses/recordings or approved amendments to the existing registration may be sufficient.

Students agree that all communication/correspondence with Student Relations/Prep Pharma management is confidential and will not be shared with other students or any third party.
